I'm leaving the family for 4 days and meeting 14 friends down in Disney for a 60th bday party, they rented a house. I got in a little late on the deal and could bring air matress in their car they are driving down, But at 50 the thought of sleeping on air matress is not appealing. I also love having my own space, since it's a rare treat.

So I decided to stay at hotel solo non disney cheap as possible.

I've stayed solo in places but always kind of splurged, stayed at disney, valet parking, etc. This trip has to be cheap.
I was looking at one of the Knights Inn for $30 but began feeling nervous about outdoor corriders.

Thinking about the Clarion Inn in Lake Buena Vista, stayed there with kids years ago when it was Comfort and liked it. any other recommendations?

Check Holiday Inn's website to see if they have any affordable deals during your visit. All their properties are required to have interior corridors.

I would be very weary of anything around $30. While you may not spend much time in the room and all rooms look the same once the lights are out, that price point in this day and age is just too cheap, IMO. While I would not fear crime, I'd have other concerns.*

*not referring to the Knights Inn, of which I know nothing about.
