Safes?

Do the DVC resort rooms have in-room safes?

The 1BRs we stayed in at both VWL and BWV each had a small wall safe....couldn't put much more than a fanny pack in them though.

I know BCV has them as well. Others can vouch for OKW and the various studios.

OKW studios do not. I think all other DVC villas do have the small wall safe.

I asked this question to my guide prior to purchasing since I sometimes bring my laptop computer with me. She informed me that the wall safe at BCV is large enough to hold a laptop! I'm not sure about the other properties.

The 1-BR in VWL can't hold a laptop (not even close).

There are small safes in the closet of the BWV studios. They are definitely not large enough for a laptop. They are big enough to hold a camera, keys, airline tickets and other small items.

We had a small safe in the closet of our VWL studio. It was adequate for a camera, cell phone, credit cards and envelopes of cash.

That's interesting. Okay, folks who have stayed at BCV....are the safes bigger?

We toured BCV on our last trip and I think I remember the safe being a little larger in the 1BR than we had in VWL or BWV. It's not very deep, but it might have been able to hold a laptop set on end.

Sorry, I just can't remember exactly how big it was, just that I remember it seemed bigger than the other ones.
