I have used them frequently as I carry minimal valuables into the parks. My travel wallet has ID, my KTTW, and a litle cash, that's it. Other things go in the safe. I've never had a problem.

We have never had a problem leaving things in the room safe. I try to carry as little into the parks as possible. I do try not to bring too much cash with me to begin with....I always get traveler's checks and put them in the safe so I don't have to worry.

Yes. The alternatives are to either not have these things, hide them in a less secure location, or take them with me into the parks.

I use the safe. Like the PP, I don't bring a huge amount of cash with me on vacation anyhow though.

Yes we trust the safe...

Which is really ironic because there is more money in camera equipment, electrical devices and computers sitting out in the room that what is in the safe.

Even the larger safes won't hold much equipment.

We always use the safe. We store our iPads, iPods, wallets including cash and credit cards as well as my husband's work cell phone. We find them to be exactly the right size for our family. I took a picture of our safe with it fully loaded with our contents. Would like me to post it?

We use the safes on occasion. We have had a problem with the safe not opening. We just called the front desk and they sent someone up to open it. We have never had anything stolen from the safe. Nor have we had anything stolen when we haven't used the safe.

I've always used the safes and never had an issue. I store iPad, camera, iPods, jewelry, and cash/gift cards in there.

Another vote for the safes working just fine! We always use them primarily for traveler's checks and jewelry and have never found issue with them.

Yep. Cash, Credit Cards, and my Nook went into it last time. All I carry to the parks is my KTTW (with charging), DL, and $20-$30 in cash.

Agree with everyone - never had any issues with anything being stolen - my bigger fear is when I stay at POP (where safes are still lock and & key) that I will lose the key in a park - so I attach the key to a carabeaner(? spelling) and then to a belt loop on my jeans/shorts, etc. - never lost a key either (keeping my fingers crossed )

I had a pair of amethyst earrings stolen that I left in a drawer once (lesson learned - they had more sentimental value than intrinsic value), but never had anything stolen since I put everything with even minimal value in the wall safe.
Generally, even what I put in the safe wouldn't be worth very much. I put a small bit of backup cash and my travel documents and some old electronics in there as well as a bit of inexpensive jewellery. The sort of stuff that if left out in plain sight might be a temptation to someone and a hassle or inconvenience for me to replace.

I never travel with jewellery or anything of any appreciable value these days. Basically, I travel with cheap or worn out and/or old everything. Gone are the days when I would dress up and bring nice things with me on a vacation. I enjoy those at home. I bring an outdated ipad and old iphone for travel. Nothing that I have that has any real value goes with when I travel. I have lost a few nice items that way. Never again.

I have never felt uncomfortable leaving anything in the safe and have never had a problem with the safes.

They aren't very big and won't hold tons but will hold something like an Ipod, wallet and I put my Kindle Fire in it too.

Never had a problem with the safe; I basically use it for my extra cash, and this year I had my Nook Tablet in there. Credit card stays in my wallet, which is on me/in my bag. I always put the safe key by itself in an inner zippered pocket inside my bag. Nothing's 100% foolproof, but I've never had an issue.
