Safe Sea® Lotion - SPF 50+ Sunscreen (Sensitive Skin)

Hello! Has anyone used this product before and if so, did it work AND did you find the 50+ sunscreen to work like other 50+ products? (The product description says it's good for 80 minutes in the water) Trying to figure out if I have to use our regular sunscreen 1st as a "base layer" and then put the Sea Safe over it? TYIA!! Cheers!

I used this on my son at Castaway Cay as his only sunscreen and it was fine. I reapplied a couple times after swimming.

Same here - had to reapply twice but didn't use anything else.

The sunscreen portion was fine, but 1 of the 3 of us still ended up getting stung. I'd probably use it again next time and hope for better luck with the jellyfish.

Thank you for the replies!!! Disfam3mi, not to get too personal, but I've heard that the lotion needs to go EVERYWHERE before swimwear goes on and definitely needs to be reapplied after 80+ min of water time to protect from the jellyfish eggs getting caught in swimwear ... Anyone else notice that as well for itchiness prevention rather than sunscreen protection? THANKS again for your feedback!

The bites were on my son's stomach. ...I don't think we were in the water any more than an hour. They were sore the rest of the day, but it could have been worse.
