I've looked and if the answer to this is somewhere--I apologize! We are sailing on July 14--myself, adult daughter, and infant granddaughter. I went ahead and ordered the two antigen tests from Inspire and scheduled an appointment under my account. Now for my concern--When my daughter logged in to her account do her and Granddaughters there was no option for her to schedule an appointment. Has any family done this already? Is the whole over age 5 family able to test with just one appointment time? Thanks!

I was about to set up Safe passage and order Inspire kits as well. Anyone have info to share? Did the kits come right away? Were you able to schedule on line for an appointment or did you have to call?

TIA😉

My tests came within 3 days. My daughter's test went to her house even though I ordered both of them on my account. Each adult has to have their own account. They keep assuring me we can both test at the same time with one phone with only one appointment. We shall see on the 11th!!

Let me know what appointment times are offered. I have to be at the airport by 6:30 am and want to test before then so I can know if I should board the plane.
TIA
PS Looks like we are both the "Cruising" types!

I logged into safe passage to try to see the times for testing but it didn't even show my time on there!! I then looked back at my email to try to see what to do if I had to change the time and it said I had to call to change the time so sorry but I don't remember how early the times started because we wanted a late in the day time due to travel. But I plan to use the free government ones each day for a couple days before to make sure!! I've got plenty and they all expire by August!!

Me too, but every other day. Someone suggested to do one at day 13 to see if I could qualify for 90 day recovered exemption. This would give me a day to schedule for PCR Dr appt and 5 day recovery for note.
Have a great trip.

Some at-home tests have had their shelf life extended after manufacture. See this FAQ at the FDA: https://www.fda.gov/medical-devices...ests-frequently-asked-questions#date-extended
and there's a link to a table of manufacturers/lot numbers and their new expiration dates: https://www.fda.gov/medical-devices...vices/home-otc-covid-19-diagnostic-tests#list . In that table, there are some brands that have multiple names so look in the "other details" column as well as in the manufacturer column.

Thank you jtkboston. I am from Manchester, NH, transplanted to NC. I changed the expiry dates on the ihealth brand kits that the government sent last week. I will test and test in hopes that I can cruise Aug 1st after a 3 year hiatus.

How far in advance did you order your kits from Inspire and how long did it take you to receive them. We are cruising in September, hoping this pre testing will be eliminated, but , want to know when should I order the kits as we will be in Disney the night before cruise and will be doing things from home prior to flights

If you order using the DCL Safe Passage website (run by Inspire Diagnostics), you can't do that until 15 days from your sail date. The test kits are supposed to be mailed out about 2 days after ordering and should arrive in about 2 days.

Some people on my upcoming cruise ordered them direct from Inspire Diagnostics which can be done at any time.

Can anyone tell me the cost? I can't tell since it won't let me order until 15 days out, and I am wondering if it is cheaper to do it somewhere else , or even just at the port.

Also, there are 5 of us from 3 households and 2 different states in the room. If we all take tests before we fly and sail, and one of us tests positive, will we all be denied boarding? For example, if my niece who does not live with me or even in the same state and I haven't seen in a year has a postive result before she boards a plane to meet me, will all the rest of us have to cancel?

I currently see the following options for pre-cruise testing on Safe Passage:
  • Order an Early Embarkation COVID-19 Home Test (antigen): $46.58 USD
  • Schedule an Early Embarkation Test Near the Terminal
    • Rapid Antigen Test: $46.58 USD
    • Rapid PCR Test: $98.33 USD
  • Order Embarkation Day Test
    • Rapid Antigen Test: $77.63 USD
    • Rapid PCR Test: $98.33 USD
  • Upload an Early Embarkation Third-Party COVID-19 Test Result
