Safe hotel near Universal

Can anyone recommend a safe reasonably priced hotel near Universal for two college girls? Just spending one night before moving on property at Universal.

Drury Inn is close, has free breakfast and an evening "kickback" that could serve as your dinner. You also get some free adult beverages.

Rosen Inn Closest to Universal has a good reputation and usually is priced low, although it’s been a long time since we last stayed there. (We did the same as you - one night before switching to onsite.)

Double tree near Universal entrance- my college age daughter stayed alone in the fall and with a friend just a few weeks ago. Safe, clean, and easy to get food and forgotten items(phone charger) delivered from nearby businesses

Last time I stayed at a Rosen property, there was no resort fee or parking charge.... Price listed was the price we paid, so that's another plus.
