Safe Hotel Near DTD

We are heading to WDW again (woohoo) but want to stay offsite since hubby will only be with DD and I 2 out of the 8 days. So really we just need a nice, safe place to sleep since we will be at the parks or shopping the rest of the time I don't want to spend too much again since its just the 2 of us and we won't be using the hotel except to sleep. I'm a bit concerned that its just me and DD though so I want somewhere safe. Also would rather not pay a resort fee and pay for parking but will if need be. A fridge in the room would also be a bonus!

I would try a 1 bedroom condo at Bonnet creek. There is a entire thread on Bonnet Creek and renting through Ken Price or Ebay as opposed to the Wydham directly. We have a 2 bedroom in January for marathon weekend for 7 nights for 548.00 - full kitchen, washer and dryer etc.

We just got back from Sring Hill Suites near DTD yesterday. I was just me and my two sons and felt very safe there. It wasn't brand new and every corner wasn't sparkling, but it was clean enough and the staff were very friendly. Also have a decent breakfast that's included and no parking fees. The room also had a fridge and microwave.
