Safari with early morning hours

what time is the first safari when the park opens early at 8? Will we be able to hit the 930 lion king if we had a fast pass for lion king?

Figure about 8:10.
It takes a long time to walk back to the Safari Entrance, and then through that long queue.

I don't know of a 9:30 Lion King. (First Festival of the Lion King show would be at 10AM.)

Regardless, you do NOT NEED a FP to see the Festival of the Lion King.

And, yes, if you ride Safari as one of the first rides of the day (AM EMH or regular hours)
you can still walk into the 10AM Festival of the Lion King show after riding.

That's right I forgot it was 10. Should know that by now. I am having such a hard time laying out my animal kingdom day with friends who haven't been there before. So 8 am in for safari. 10 am lion king. Think I should put a 9 am fast pass in for the Mickey meet and great for their kid? Prob nemo for 1130. Rapids 1230?

10AM FoLK gets out at 10:30.
Next Nemo starts at 11AM, so you can't do that show via FP (you'd arrive too late.)

I would FP the 12 Noon Nemo show and arrive no later than 11:30 and get in the FP line.
After the 11 AM show lets out (about 11:45) FP guests can enter the Nemo theater and pick
any of the prime seats.

Your 9AM (or so) Mickey meet would work, BTW.
