The trucks are not on a rail, and it could be some animals are blocking the path. They cannot move the animals, they have to wait for them to move on their own. Could also be something totally different.

How does a ride like the Safari have technical difficulties? Unless it is something with the loading gates or an injured animal, I don't see how it could not open.

Stuff happens - especially when there are live animals involved. Guests and animals safety is top priority.

I get folks are upset but really do they think Disney closed it (in a smaller park) for ........... giggles?

I once sat over an hour out there for some animals who refused to move and instead played chicken with us .... live animals do their own thing.

I just hope all the animals are okay.
