I cried this morning when the news broke- it felt like a weight had been lifted off the world.

What wonderful news for the Iraqi people, for our troops and for this country. Praise God! Thank you US Troops! And thank you Presiden Bush for taking the initiative (although at great cost) to get this creep out of power!

It's amzing the restraint that the military doctor must have had while he was examining Saddam. I don't know how he could have not beat the crap out of him, but he didn't. The same goes for the servicemen who found him. I think a kick to the groin would be justified at the very least. But, we have him, so it's a start.

I hope that Hussein's capture will make this Holiday season a little easier for the military families who have soliders away from home, for our soliders, and for those families who've lost a loved one in this war.
