In our typical WDW trips, we would factor in 2-3 resort days. On those days, I would take one of our two kiddos for a "dad-son bonding time" afternoon in one of the parks (dont worry- I'd take the other on the second resort day). The rules were- no rides (and thus no lines), no character meet-and-greets.. just some time enjoying the random stuff Disney offers in the parks. I always leave the park up to the kiddo.
The second year we did this, my older son and I stumbled upon the Agent P adventure in Epcot. And since then (4 trips) that has been both boy's choice for their afternoon. The look on their faces when they'd make the smoke come out of the tower in Norway, or see the water fill up the window in England.. it was a blast (they also found those flip phones 'weird' especially when i explained to them that those are the kind of mobile phones we all used, not too long ago
). It sounds like Disney has something new coming with a similar Duck Tails adventure- here's to hoping it is as awesome as Agent P. We'll miss you Perry The Platypus...
