Sad night tonight as we had to put down our 14 1/2 year old dachshund Tipper. He has been suffering over the past few months with pancreatitis. He has also had IVDD with his back and it has been harder and harder for him especially during the colder months we have had. He had another flare up of the pancreatitis yesterday and has been vomiting up everywhere and is vomiting blood also. It's very hard to say goodbye as we have had him since he was 6 weeks old. DH took him to the vet and stayed with him during that time as I had to pick up DD from school. She is quite upset tonight as are the rest of us. Hope he is running at the Rainbow Bridge tonight, carefree and happy again.

 Barbara. So hard to lose a loved furbaby.
I've sure he had a wonderful life.

Im so sorry, I just hate when a long time pet dies, people who dont love animals just have no ideal how hard this is. You hang in there

You can look at that face and see he was a really sweet dog. Lost mine suddenly 2 months ago and have a good idea how you feel. So sorry! :(

Good vibes & love heading your way, it seems you had 14 1/2 great years with him, he surely appreciated you all just as much  :grouphug:
