Sad News

I thought I should postthis, as to not confuse anyone with my dcl questions. I had to cancel my wedding..not that it was officially booked or anything. My dream of becoming a dftw bride is down the drain, my father said he won't pay for it, and df's mom can not give us that amount of money. I am not giving up complete hope, but for rigt now it's a no go

I am still going to try and plan something for home for sept 2009, and then hopefully do a disneymoon and dclmoon.. so I will stay on here, because yall are some of the best brides I have met and I know any questins I have dis related or not, you will help me with!!

we got married at the courthouse last year and added the VR to our Disney Cruise..it was $1500 ..alot less than a wedding on DCL would have been!

Thanks ladies!! yall rock!! I thought about the escape thing, but after photography and what not, i still wont be able to afford.. im now trying to figure out a way to do a disney cruise wedding.. if not then I will try to do something at home then just moon in dcl and wdw.

yall are really so inspirational, so i will def be referring to all pj's as i have been! a wedding is a wedding, so your info is just as elpful..plus yall are like biffers now!

Actually - it could be doable Like someone said at Swan or Leu Gardens is like 1,000 times cheaper then DFTW!

I'm planning a Fairy Tale/Cinderella themed wedding with a disneymoon at home in VA. Followed by a Disneymoon. Maybe you could do something similar?

dont be sorry, what is meant to be will be. i'm trying to stay poitive. i'm hoping to do a dcl wedding.. if not i will def stick with my very first idea of a super bad as* halloween themed wedding in october. My boss is a gourmet chef and im pretty sure will give me a sweet deal on catering.. so not all hope is lost.. thank god for lisa and her dcl wedding pj!! im reading her and crossing my fingers!

I'm so sorry to hear that! Don't worry, everything will work out great for you and your DF....even if it's not a DFTW, at the end of the day, you will be both still be husband and wife!

I know some of the ladies already posted variations on this thought...but have you considered other "ceremony" locations?? I'm not able to afford a DFTW of any kind, but I really wanted to be in Disney! My whole ceremony piece at Leu Gardens is under $1000!! And I know of ways to make it even cheaper!

I'll be having a small after wedding dinner at Disney, and everything else will be at Disney!

I guess it depends on how many people you'd like to have. We're only having 7 guests...so it is a lot easier to cut back on things than if you're planning a huge thing.

hehe halloween is all i live for (aside from my kiddies lol) i know for sure that whaever happens, cl wedding or home wedding a party will be had on halloween 2009.. cause it falls on a saturday lol
