Sad news....

Hi everyone.....

I don't know how many of you read the other boards but in the DIS Podcast board tonight Pete has posted the sad news that Bob Varley died this afternoon. See link: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1808188

So very sad.....

Bob was a truly special guy who had a great passion for Disney and could make everyone smile. Listening to him on the podcasts sometimes made me cry with laughter - he was so funny.

I am so shocked and saddened at the death of dear Bob - I can't tell you how much he contributed to the DIS in the early days under the name of Wilderness. His incredible trip reports, full of humour, his love and enthusiasm for Disney contributed to making the DIS a wonderful place to be.

Bob was a great, kindly and fun colleague, and he'll be so greatly missed.

I feel so sad for Diana and Brian and also Pete, John and all his close friends - they were so very close this is going to be incredibly tough for them now.
