Sad - Just cancelled our trip

Thanks, everyone, for your support. Maybe we will be able to go next year...who knows. I knew the only people who would get how sad cancelling a WDW trip is are the people on the DIS. I've always said WDW is my sanity every year!

Sorry you had to cancel. We also had to cancel a short DVC trip in July when my father died. I'd never had to cancel before and it was only a couple of days before check in, so I had no idea what to expect when we called MS (we were out of town and didn't have any DVC info with us). I'll have to say, MS was very sympathetic and considerate of our circumstances.

I am so sorry for your loss. MS was very nice when I called them also.
