Sad but happy.

I'm sad to say that we have to put our trip on hold for a bit. We were scheduled to be at AKL starting June 14th. But due to work schedules, finances and a few other things we have to reschedule for August. I know it will be hot as **** in Florida that time of year, but I think we will be fine. We'll just have to spend more time at the pools!! I just can't wait to get back to WDW!

The main thing is you're still coming down and not cancelling completely. The time will pass and you will be here before you know it.

Yes, August is hot but it can be a lot of fun too. You'll have a new appreciation for those dark, cool rides

Believe it or not, we actually loved being there in August and chose that timeframe for our upcoming trip AND the last time we were there in August was during Hurricane Fay and we were staying at the Poly. Gotta love all that walking in the rain...and ponchos...lol! We are also lovers of lots of heat and despite the storm got plenty of Florida sunshine. My tips for August are drink lots of water, wear waterproof shoes, keep a poncho handy and when you're done drinking water...drink Margaritas
