Sad and pathetic, revisited....

I posted this several years ago, and I see that it applies again. I am a sad and pathetic woman!! 23 days until I leave for WDW (I have a conference Nov 13-17 - don't worry, it's a pretty small group - at CSR...hooray, off to Disney on the company's bill!!)...and I CANNOT concentrate at work!! I am just too excited. Haven't been to Disney since February 2003, way too long, and that trip was super-short... How can I get any work done in the next 23 days? HELP! How do you all manage??

(Doubly entertaining - I am remarried since my last trip - and DH has NEVER BEEN TO WDW!!! Fortunately, the FWF is going on that weekend, so I know that he will love at least that part of it!!)

On to my other perceived problem - I secretly booked Divequest as a birthday suprise for DH, and I am having a very hard time keeping my mouth shut (yes, I immaturely said, "I know something you don't know" after drinking 2 beers last weekend, how old am I anyways???)...and I want it to be a surprise. I basically lied and told him I've booked some "beer/wine tasting" thing that afternoon to cover up why we have to be at a specific place at a specific time...but now I'm trying to decide if I should mention it while we're headed over to meet the Living Seas guys? Or on the way down on the plane? Or in the hotel that morning? Or not at all until we get to the front and the pick us up for Divequest? Any ideas?

23 days. A LONG TIME. And now, back to work (ha).

I just wanted to say we leave in 43 days and I'm having a hard time working! As for a surprise for your husband. I have booked the Richard Petty Driving Experience for him and I did the same thing you did! It's supposed to be his Christmas present and so I just keep telling him that I'm not going to tell him I guess we will just have to stay away from the booze until we go!

Wow, glad I'm not the only one. We just ended our "busy season" at work and I still have over 3 weeks left before we leave. And just like you ... I can't concentrate at work!!!

Ever since I hit my 20 day mark, I've been USELESS!! I'm always on these boards instead of doing my reports and paperwork. SO now I am at 1 day and do you think I've done my reports for today?!? LOL NO!!!!! I keep coming on here looking to post some comments. I keep checking out google and looking up other people's vacation websites and checking out their photos! I'm a tad bit crazy!! BUT the past few days in between attempting to work, being online and writing and rewriting our itnerary I get hit with a feeling of sadness when I write out the part where it says pack up and head home SO I don't know if I've helped you in anyway . . . maybe just the knowing that there are other crazy about disney trips people out there and I'm sure I'll be posting as soon as I get back on how to cope with WDW withdrawl. With all that said and done I think I going to start a 1 day left dance! Hang in the hon because it'll be here soon.

I see that there are a large number of us being paid to post here today....if only my work knew that I have very little intention of actually attending any lectures in 3 weeks, they'd be horrified. I'm a terrible person (but what about all those nights I took work home?)...

Evilina, you're leaving TOMORROW??? Great, now I'm jealous, as well!!! Have an awesome time...and just don't write that bad part of your itinerary, and it will all work out...

How I wish I only had 20 some odd days to go. DH, DSD, DD and I are not going until January, 2005. I'm supposed to be drafting a stock agreement that needs to be done by close of business today and here I am on the boards. LOL. Have a wonderful time those of you leaving soon.

Liberty Lover - well, there is still some time left today....I, myself, am staring at a huge stack of work promised to a client for this afternoon... Just remember - in January, while we're all freezing our butts off, you'll be in WDW, laughing it up. Darn it! Now I'm jealous of you, too!!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one that can't concentrate right before a trip to WDW. I thought our trip this year would never get here - we just got back last week and it was amazing as always.

Now I have to do it all over again - uuggggghhh - all that waiting - oh well - it's definitely worth the wait!!!

OMG!!! Back to work this morning, thinking this thread would be on like page 3...I am laughing so hard right now!!!

I do have a long meeting in a bit...wonder if I can sneak my laptop in....how obvious would it be, so ya think???

Poor dixiegirl...that's a lot of days...you can sleep in my bathtub if you want to go w/us!
