Sacramento (SMF)-Can you recommend a good meeting place?

Is anyone familiar enough with the Sacramento airport (SMF) to recommend a good meeting place to wait for the rest of my party, preferably outside of the security area? We'll be arriving separately.

Please don't PM-I need to know the answer too! We are flying Delta on the day before Thanksgiving. My mom will be coming from Roseville and we will be coming in from Antioch so I would like to know a good meeting place!!

There are 2 terminals @ SMF, A and B. Delta is in terminal A. If you need to meet *before* security, there is some seating in the lobby area in front of the ticket counters for Southwest & Delta. Also, there is an escalator and an elevator that take you upstairs to the security checkpoint - you can meet next to the elevator or escalator.... though the line for security can stretch down the escalator.

If you are meeting on the gate side of security, there is a food court with several vendors (Cinnabon, Burger King, Starbucks, California Pizza Kitchen, to name a few) with tons of tables.

I have not used Terminal B in a couple years so I'm not sure what there is over there.

Don't worry too much- SMF is not THAT big of an airport.... just make sure you are meeting in the same terminal

Thank you very much. DD6 and I are flying in on Delta while my DD3 and DH will be arriving an hour later on Southwest. Do I understand from you post that both of these airlines are in Terminal A? Would I be able to get off a Delta flight and go sit by the gate for their Southest flight to wait for them?

I chuckle to read the posts of families upset at not sitting in the same row together since we will actually be on different carriers.
