Is there an age limit to go in the lazy river. My son will be 1 year 4 months when we go in June and he loves sitting in his raft and floating around. Will my wife and I be able to take him into the lazy river at SAB? I guess the same question for the lazy river at Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach? Thanks!!

I would get a life jacket that fits him. They have tubes for rent but don't let you bring your own. And the river is very deep. I'd post this question on the BC/YC thread, I'm sure someone will know about age limits.

The lazy river at SAB is more like a lazy puddle. Blink and you've done the whole thing.

I just swam around SAB with my son in his pool float (he was 13mo), but didn't take him in the lazy river section.

Just know that it is a 8 feet deep and rather swift, also as stated it is not very long. Nothing like a water park lazy river.

Basically that is a misnomer, it is a swift, deep, section of the pool.

Are you allowed to use your own floats for toddlers? My son (who will be 1 year and 4 months) has his own float that keeps him safe when he is in the water, will I be allowed to use this in the pool?

I used one for my son at AKL and BC with no problem. I have heard they don't allow you to use infant floats that have sun covers (like a little roof), but I have seen them used and no one said anything. The float I have doesn't have one, I keep a hat on him.

If you have one with the cover I would be prepared to be told it's not allowed. It's because it obstructs the lifeguards view of the infant.
