SAB in DEC,...

I can tell you that it's opened.

We are going the second week in November and I was just wondering if we should try to switch out of BCV because the water is warm, but the air may make the time spent there less enjoyable. DS says to let it be. I figure we're going to be using the villa pool more during that trip (easier to get back to the room), but maybe I'll be proven wrong.

Disney pools are heated.

December can be hit or miss. Sometimes its warm enough that everyone from the mid-South North swims (people from Texas watch bemused in their jeans and jackets), other times its just people from Michigan and Minnesota in the pools (people from Kentucky watch bemused in their jeans and jackets).

Even when the Disney gardeners are working overtime due to frost, you always see some people in the pool - when its below zero back home, anything short of having to chop through the ice to swim is ok.

It wasn't too bad a few days for MLK weekend. We got in Thursday night and it was warm, so we hit the villa pool. I think it was in the low 70/upper 60's for part of the weekend. From sitting around listening to people, my guess is the gang was a bunch of Midwesterners, New Yorkers and the 2 couples from Victoria, BC we met on the ME.

Actually saw grownups beside myself in the pool, I use that as a gauge, as kids will go swimming and not complain about being cold even if their lips are blue.:lmao:

Can't speak for the pool, but we were there last Dec. Florida had a cold front come in, it was COLD!:sad2: My4 year old DGD said," I'm cold to the bone!" I had to buy her a $30.00 blanket to cover up with. It was almost miserable at night for 2 nights of our trip. Since it was Dec, it just made it feel more like Christmas. We made a good trip of it. :goodvibes
