On our arrival day we are going to MNSSHP and I thought it would be fun to explore the AKL in the morning. I would love to eat at Saana for lunch but I don't want to make reservations in case our plans change.

Is it difficult to get seated at Saana without reservations at lunchtime?

We have done lunch at Sanaa without reservations many times, no problem. I think you'll be fine.

Have a great trip!

I agree with Helen, I don't think you'll have any problems at all getting a walkup table. We had lunch at Sanaa twice our last trip (August) and the restaurant was nowhere near full either time. We made an ADR for the second visit the day before - we had such a fantastic meal the first time that DH insisted on going back. We could have just turned up though. :)

Not to raise expectations, but each time we've been to Sanaa lunch, we've been lucky to watch feeding time for many of the animals. So cool to be able to have some good food, sip wine, and watch the zebras and giraffes walk right up to the animal handler and get their lunch right in front of the window!! I hope you have a fantastic trip.:thumbsup2

I was able to make an ADR for Sanaa at the last minute and we probably could have done a walk up. Give it a try and enjoy!

We had dinner reservations a few years ago but just wanted to say that Saana is one of our favorite restaurants. You can view the animals and like another poster said if you get lucky you can catch "lunch time" for the animals! Our autistic son was bored after he had eaten but was enthralled when the animals came near the windows. Hope you enjoy it!
