me too on the Disney Visa and I would have to make arrangments in advance to come in a late to work on a day the DVisa discounts are released so I can call and wait to get the discount. I never get the e-mails until closer to dinner time from Chase. we want stay at Pop next trip so maybe not so important to get that advance booking window; always seems to be plenty of discounted room there

From previous Disney Visa release dates, start checking around Oct. 1st-2nd...they may surprise us all and release next week, Sept. 18th or 19th, but that is probably just wishful thinking. Last year, there was a weekend given to Disney Visa card holders to book before the discounts were released to the general public...
Also, last year there were two offers, one for just a room discount and one for stay, play and dine (at least according to mousesavers)

there was also a third offer that came out a little later-- something focused on traveling with young children, it was unclear what the difference between calculating that and s/p/d was, but i remember that it saved me $50 or $100 over s/p/d. It's worth checking for more discounts even after the original ones come out.

I always check for a rumor thread, but it is to no avail. It's to bad about "black". Waiting to book something, but my patience is getting shorter and shorter, as the days go by. C'mon already.

It used to be nice when those helpful ones would do their best to give us a heads up. Now all the mean people have tossed that out the window for us all. once again, thanks.

I changed my room from AOA to Movies because of discounts. Well when I
switched the CM kept trying to get me to do dining plan add on. so that got me thinking the discount will be either S/p/d or Should we hope Free Dining. waiting not so patiently on discounts to come out Btw This is for January for me going 19th -25th

I wouldn't count on the fact that the cm was pushing the dining plan means a promo is coming. Most likely they get credit for every add-on they sell. Not that there will not be one, I just wouldn't make the connection.

Over on the January 2015 thread someone posted that they booked a vacation for a client and the CM mentioned free dining in January...take it with a grain of salt...only a couple more weeks and we shall know if the rumor is true
