Hi - if anyone has used the above lately can you let me know - do you have to book pretty far in advance for stuff like manicure, pedicure or massage... and if you are staying at the GF do you get the use the health club facilities (treadmill, etc.) for free
AND lastly - can you use the spa if you are not staying at the GF.... thanks in advance....

Hi,

I just got back from the GF and can answer your questions. I've booked treatments 30 days in advance and I've also been able to have them done on 24 hours notice.

While the spa is on the GF property, it is run by a different company. Anyone over the age of 14 can use the health club facility by paying a fee of $18 for the day, $30 for individual length of stay and $45 for family length of stay. Use of the health club is not included in your Grand Floridian stay, but anyone can use it or book a spa treatment. The only exception to the fee is if you have a spa treatment scheduled. You are given complimentary use of the facility for that day.

Let me know if I can help with anything else.

How are the facilities? DH and I have treatments booked and are going to try to use the fitness center, sauna, etc. Any opinion on them?

Are there co-ed areas or will we be seperated the whole time?

How is the staff?

Have you been to the spa at Wyndham Palace and, if so, how does it compare to the GF spa?

Sorry for all the questions - I've never had a spa treatment and want to make the right decision.

Thanks!

MerGirl- I have had a couple of treatments at the GF Spa. You do not need to be a guest at the Resort to use the spa.

The Staff has always been great. Since this will be your first Spa trip, be sure to let them know so they will explain everything to you and make sure you are comfortable. One thing you might want to let them know is if you would like a male or female CM for your treatment.

The fitness center is co-ed. There are male and female dressing areas.

Have FUN!!!
