Even though presently my alma mater's campus is still open the classes and all are going remote soon. In any case school sponsored events and whatnot are limited to 50people and this was before CDC came out with that recommendation until May 11th..graduation is 6 days after that and the way it looks that could be extended given the whole 8 week guideline from March 15th..it'd be cutting it extremely close. We got word today our district is closed through April 5th. Some schools have prom scheduled that same weekend. I feel sad for all those graduating this year.
Walking down the hill (as the main campus for the University sits ontop of a hill) for graduation is probably the most important tradition to my alma mater's graduation ceremony as you walk through a bell tower on your way that signifies your compeletion of your degree.
Gosh it just suck for all of those in the school system I feel
