Rumor on another site: Soarin will not be over California

Interesting considering it was pretty much confirmed by Disney that it would open as Soarin Over California. It certainly would be a plus in my book as long as it keeps to the quality of the original. Also the building is much less intrusive than in the other photo.

It still remains to be seen, even in "official" Disney publications, it has been stated it would be a duplicate of California.

Wouldn't SOA be more appropriate anyway? I mean, why would it be California anyway? Why not Soarin' Over Iowa? Or Soarin' Over Louisiana? Let's not play favorites kids.

I thought I read that it would be Soarin' over California temporarily - the story being it was a gift from Disneyland to Disney World for DL's 50th Anniversary, and then while the 50th was being celebrated, a new film would be made, and then the ride would be rechristened after the 50th Celebration was over.
