Wow! This is a throwback from the 1960's! I remember my mother saving books to get quite a few things to decorate our old home. Is this company still around? Or are you looking for old books for some art/pop culture history project?

I just Googled the company as a trip down memory lane. You can still redeem them! They are now being traded in for a 1 to 1 "virtual point" value.: One stamp will be converted into one S&H Greenpoint. Who'd thunk?!

I actually have to tackle a whole room full of my mom's old clutter. She's definitely got stuff in there from decades ago. It would be a hoot to actually find an old pile of the books I can trade in for something. Thanks for the idea OP!

My mom collected these. There was a green stamps store in the town I lived in when I grew up. There was a store that also had yellow stamps. Plus, Community Coffee had a store where you could redeem their points/product labels.

I remember licking the stamps to fill my mom's books. Also, in Elementary School chorus, we sang this song:

My mother-in-law gave me thousands of them a few years ago and the company gave me the option of getting the equal number of virtual greenpoints or getting a check. I ended up with a $20 check.

Thanks for responding y'all! I actually have enough from deceased relatives to get a $100 Disney gift card (94,000 points). I'm hoping I can find more through various sources to get another one. That will be a good start to our next trip!

Thank goodness I don't have packrat tendencies. I can't imagine still having some of those hanging around. I'm sure people do however.
