 How many people can be at a table in the Dining Rooms? I had heard 12 maximum, but also 14. Or is only 4 and 8? Please help!

I have a question about that also, do Odd number groups (Like 5) have a larger chance of sharing a table.

There were 8 of us at our table. We were at table 12. It was very comfortable. I saw several tables of 4-5 then there were a few tables with 10 or more.

Do they try to put hoenymooners together or at least couples of similar age together?

There is one table in the center of the dining room that can hold up to 14. We had a group of 14 and we requested that table ahead of time. We had about 6 different cabins and all linked our dining.

We cruised in June 2001 and are going again in June 2003...we loved our table for 4 (#71) and requested it again for our next cruise...I am assuming they do not change the table numbers around...am I correct???

There were 5 in our family on the Wonder cruise this past June and they put us with a family of 3 for a total of 8. We wanted to sit with just OUR family as it was the only time we were really together, but it was fun with the family we sat with. We had quite a few laughs and the children were all around the same age.

On our first cruise, DH and myself (both in our 20s) requested a table of 4. We were put with another married couple about our own age. Don't know if it was specifically planned by Disney, but it worked out well :)

Thanks, Julie. I was asking becasue we went away to the Pocoons immediately after the wedding. They knew we were just married and sat us with a table full of peopel close to our parents age. Not that we mind, but there was a bunch of other newlyweds our age and there was room at their table. We would have liked to make some friends....

Ive requested that our family of 3 be seated by ourselves. Dont know if this will happen. I just dont want to offend anyone when DH comes to dinner in shorts (that's if DCL lets him).

When DH and I were on our honeymoon (Magic, 1998) we sat with 2 other honeymoon couples (table for 6). We had a lot in common as we were all married the same day and were around the same age. It was great to meet others with things in common. We had a lot to talk about - it was a blast!!

To answer this question - YES I do think DCL tries to put people together that are similar.
