has anyone been to wdw in may? what are the crowds/weather like? also, has anyone been to the flower power concerts? where are they at in epcot?

We tend to go about two weeks after Easter. It's a GREAT time of year for the parks - the crowds aren't too bad, the weather is great, and the resorts are not in their "peak pay" period.

The concerts are in the outdoor pavillion across from the American showcase (if I'm not mistaken).

My favorite time to go, especially early-to-mid May. The crowds are moderate and the weather is beautiful - low humidity, warm but not too hot. It is not totally dead like September - there are just enough people to give the parks a festive atmosphere but the lines are not too long at all. Before my oldest DD got to middle school, May was our first choice for visiting WDW; those were the days! Now we go during Spring Break - still fun but I do long for those May trips!

Have gone the last week of April leading into May and the weather is just perfect, very little rain and can be very hot on some but not all days.. crowds moderate and the flower display at Epcot is just fantastic! I love all the topiary. Can't comment on the concerts, though.

Just like the other posts said...the weather is AWESOME!! The crowds are great also. We were there last May (2nd week) and didn't wait more than 20 minutes or so for anything and most things were "walk-on". We were actually going to go at that time this year but with the celebration beginning on May 5th, we opted for April because we aren't fans of crowds. We may regret it because we heard it was busy then too. Anyhow, according to us...you are going at a perfect time. Also the flower festival is just georgeous!
