I have two questions about the WDW PhotoPass thingy:

1) How much do the prints cost?
2) Can you copy the photos off the web-site and save them to your pc?
3) Print quality any good?

Apreciate the feedback.

I think it's about 15.95 for a 5x7. I doubt you can store them on your pc. I was pretty disappoionted in our photos online. I expected them to look better. In some pictures you couldn't even see the theme park icons in the back.

My personal photos were much better than those the disney photographers took. I really don't think I'm gonna order the photos but it is kinda nice having a picture with all family members in it. JMHO. :sunny:

They also hace I think 4X6 for cheaper... And they seem to always offer some kind of discount online. I think we got 20% off our order of over $100 (which we were going to spend one way or the other).

The copies on the website are copy-protected. You cannot print them or save them. I've never tried any of the "sneaky" ways to get around this, as I like the good quality pictures.

The print quality is the same as if you were to stand in line at the parks and order them there. They are on Kodak paper and I beleive they are photos as opposed to just a color printout on photo paper.

I really enjoyed our photos from PhotoPass. We had a bunch done so that I could actually be in some WDW photos. We also had a CM use my digital camera to take an extra one, just in case theirs didn't come out. But for the most part theirs were all terrific. If I remember correctly the 5x7s were $12.95. You could add little icons like Tink or such onto the photo. We loved them. Much better than waiting in line at the end of the day. I wish there was a way to tie in the attraction photos to it. That would be excellent.

We were disappointed with our PhotoPass pics as well. We had planned to get many, but ended up with only two. The only reason we got the two we did was to add on the special effects--we bought us in front of the castle on our way to CRT with very cute Magic Kingdom 2004 and Mickey at Toontown with Happy Holidays 2004 with all of us (11) in the shot.

Overall though, any that we took on our own camera actually came out better than theirs. We had some that I had really looked forward to that were really bad...Princess room in Toontown comes to mind...I had planned to get a large photo of the best one and hang it in DD's princess bedroom. We ended up not getting any...Most showed the princess smiling at the camera, and a lovely shot of the back of my DD. Now we waited until DD turned around and posed, and lo and behold, had them both smiling together in the same shot! :rolleyes2 Also had a great photo shot in Morrocco with Alladin, DS, DD, and Jasmine.....and the PhotoPass guy cut off half of Jasmine!! I mean, really, who would buy that?

I LOVE the whole PhotoPass idea. Loved being able to order online and add cool stuff, rather than purchase that day in the parks. But, I really think they should train their photographers more in actual photography, not just snapping pictures! :rolleyes1
