It has been almost four years since my last WDW trip. We stayed at S/D last two trips but not sure this trip where to stay. I gave up my Disney Visa several years ago for a different Visa but wondering if I should open a new one for room only discounts.

I see the current "Gift of Magic" offer but it doesn't quite go to our early May dates. Any idea when the next round might be released?

Do they still offer AAA discount codes? I don't see any currently offered.

Thanks for any help. Going with our two young adult children so will be needing two rooms, discounts a must!

Swan and Dolphin typically offer AAA discounts, but you need to book directly with Swan/Dolphin to get the discount. You can go to their webpage and either search for the discount there or call the resorts directly. As PP mentioned, WDW owned resorts no longer have AAA discounts.

It is rare that the Disney Visa offers better or different discounts than the general public codes though sometimes card holders have first access to the discounts. You can accumulate Disney rewards points to put toward your trip though, which you may find advantageous. I have a Disney visa and save the points to put toward our trips and airfare. We also use it for the special meet and greets.

Actually, the Disney Visa discount for the spring--at least for our dates and resort in March 2018--was superior to the general public discount, and this surprised me. The only better deal I saw was through Undercover Tourist, who you should check out for your trip. The only negative with Undercover Tourist is that you have to pay the entire amount upfront, although their cancellation policy is the same as Disney's.

Yes, I was surprised at how good the Disney VISA discount was for March. At least for Yacht Club, it was 35% off (I didn't find anything else that good). Sadly, it probably won't work for us to take advantage of it, but I'm hoping to get something comparable for May or June. Not counting on it though.

I have a trip booked in February with the Disney Visa discount that was offered, 35% off at YC. Visa had better discounts than the general public discounts this Spring. There were good prices at AKL through Visa too.

How do you find the Disney visa discounts? I have a card but I think I only used the visa discount once for resorts. Do you get an email from visa or do you need to keep checking their site? Tia for any help.

You’ll get an email.

You’ll get an email.
Unfortunately, not everyone gets the email! I've had the Disney Visa for years now and never have received anything! Many Dis members have reported the same. Best way to check...is to check these boards! It will be posted on here before anyone gets an email.

Thanks. I only ever remember getting an email from them once. I will keep watching the boards. Hoping for something in July.

When you go to DisneyRewards.com and click on "My Account" there's a link there to register your e-mail address to receive special Disney Visa Cardmember offers.

With the new "Sun and Fun" general discount out does any think there will be a new Visa discount for May 2018?

When I called too check for discounts for our May trip I was told their would be, but they wouldn't be released until the current offer ends in February. I'd take that with a grain of salt though. The cm I had talked to seemed unsure on a few other things I asked.

Thanks. I actually just went ahead and booked a trip through Costco. I was able to save almost $700 over what I am currently booked at POFQ for. I need two rooms this trip and just didn't want to stay at CBR which would have been a similar price to what I'm paying through Costco for the Dolphin.
