?'s about CP, Mickey's Christmas, and Osbourn Lights

Do any of the Dis-con attendees go the these programs during Dis-con? Would they be planned gatherings? I'd like the Mickey's Christmas program with the group ---just not sure of how the sign up works. Thanks PattyN

Right now there are two groups going to Mickey's Christmas Party. One group is going December 3rd and one group December 8th. Scan down a a bit and you should see the threads. Pick one and sign up!!!

As for the other two events, I think everyone is holding until we hear what Pete's final schedule is. I know poeple plan to do CP so just keep checking back!

Yup, what Carol said. I am going to MVMCP on the 8th, so I ordered my MVMCP ticket (and it has arrived! "Whoo-Hoo!"), but then I asked Chris to add me to her list of DIS'ers who want to dine together at Chef Mickey's that night.

I'm also going to CP on the 9th, regardless of Pete's decision (I'll just go twice if he includes it as an official event ).

I can't remember if the Osbourne Lights were a mini meet last year, or if we were given a tour, per se. It happened right after the Fantasmic event, and this is where it gets a little fuzzy.

Last year we had an "escorted" tour of the Osborne Lights right after the Fantasmic dessert party. It was a madhouse, because EVERYONE from Fantasmic seemed to view the Osborne Lights then! There isn't a Fantasmic dessert party on the schedule for this year. Also - there was a free night last year during the convention. Some people went to MVMCP then, and others went after DIS-CON ended. I went to the CP the same night as the Drink Around the World (DATW) - so missed most of the latter.

I'll arrive on the 1st, but probably won't go into a park that day. I'll go to MVMCP on the 3rd and fly home on the 8th. I definitely plan to do the CP dinner package - even if I go alone!

Nancy, there are quite a few people who have to leave on the 8th or 9th, so I was wondering if there was going to be a CP on the 2nd. ??? Maybe, and if CP is not an official event, a group could do it together that night. Just thinking out loud here.

Tia, if the Candlelight Processional follows the schedule from previous years, there should be 3 shows nightly beginning the day after Thanksgiving. I'd love to do the CP dinner package on Monday, Dec. 2nd - and I'll eat anywhere!
