Is this two serive credits on the disney dining plan?

Also can our daughter (5) go with us? I thought I read something about an age limit.

What time should you make dinner reservations for the fireworks?

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

It is indeed two credits; your daughter can absolutely go with you (Victoria & Alberts is the only restaurant with an age restriction); and check to see what time "Wishes" will be presented that evening, and make your reservations for about an hour earlier.

Thank you so much!

How about dress? Casual like park attire or should you get a little dressed up?

No age limit.

The current "dress code" boils down to no swimwear, no ratty shorts (if you're going in park attire wear dressier shorts), no hats or tank tops for men, no pool shoes, no torn clothing, and no tee shirts with "objectionable" writing or pictures.

Also, please note that window tables for fireworks viewing are not guaranteed, but there is a viewing platform that you may use if your table doesn't have a view. Your server will hold delivering food until after you've seen the fireworks if you need to leave your table.

Enjoy your dinner at California Grill. We ate there last year for the first time. 4 adults and dd 9. Had a great meal. Ask for Walter as your server. He was great! Explained everything to us and also suggest what wine we might like to go with our dinner.

You can pay "cash" for the 5 year old's dinner and not have to use her two credits. We have done that with our kids and it works out great. Just let your server know when he or she arrives at your table. It is quite a unique experience. Enjoy:thumbsup2

CG is a little more upscale and you would probably feel more comfortable in attire appropriate to a nice restaurant at home, slacks or dress shorts for men, a collared shirt and no sandles. For ladies, a nice sun dress or dressy shorts and a nice blouse would do fine.

My husband and I dressed up a bit for California Grill; he wore slacks and a nice button down shirt (maybe a tie, I can't recall), and I wore a black dress. We were a little overdressed, I think.. many people were in casual clothes. You probably want to clean up a bit and wear something semi-casual... not denim shorts and flip-flops, but not your Sunday best, either.

We had a reservation for 8:00 and fireworks didn't start until 9:30 or later. We got a table by the window, and our waiter agreed to make our meal a slow process so we could stay for Wishes. (We were on our honeymoon, though, and wore our pins that pointed it out... seemed to make everyone extra obliging, ha ha! :) ) Anyway, it was truly magical to watch Wishes from up high... one of my favorite memories of the trip. Oh, and the food wasn't bad, either! :)

If your going to pay 2 credits. I highly suggest going to Jiko instead.
Much better food and the knowledge the servers had about the menu is fantastic.
And to me the atmosphere is just as good too.
