Ryan Gosling as Walt Disney in film?

I did a search to see if anyone has mentioned this and did not see one, so forgive me if I overlooked it, but on "Good Morning America" today there was a mention in the crawl at the bottom of the screen that Ryan Gosling was to star as Walt in a film about Walt Disney. I did a search on the internet where it has been rumored, but no announcement. Since Disney is the owner of ABC, I would think the mention on GMA would be accurate. Anyone else see this or know anything?

A film about Walt Disney would be very interesting. I hope they do it. We loved seeing Walt Disney One Man's Dream at HS. Even my 9y.o DD would want to see it. And Ryan Gosling is a great actor. Can't wait to hear more.

I could totally see RG as WED. But this is when I will probably be told to give up my Disney fan card...

I honestly think a biopic about Walt might be better done by another production studio than Disney. I know that sounds crazy, but after reading some (excellent) biographies on WED, I think a non-Disney studio would offer a more (dare I say?) well rounded look at his life story. I fear some things could be glossed over. Maybe I am wrong. Then again, they probably would not be able to use any Disney images, what's a Walt story without Mickey? While I would love a Walt movie, I just don't think it would happen any time soon.
