When we were at the Fort in October, we saw alot of window coverings for RVs that wrap around and cover the side window too. Where do you buy these coverings? We do not have a RV yet, but thought they would be ideal for our van during our cold snowy winters in Canada.

They come with the RV's. To me, they are a pain...so I had DH mount a Closetmaid closet rod across the front of our MH & I hang cafe curtains across the front.

Yes, just like that. Can they be used in winter weather to keep ice off the windshield? Where in Canada can they be bought?

We live in Syracuse, New York so we are no stranger to winter weather here, either! I have used it to keep the windshield clear of ice (believe it or not, it was in Florence,South Carolina) from an ice storm. It worked well. It is made from a pretty heavy vinyl like material and can get pretty rigid if exposed to the extreme cold. When you take it off, if it's stiff, just let it warm up before trying to fold it or you might damage it.
I have had mine now for about 3 years and it still is in very good shape.

Thanks Disney John. We will have to check out some of the dealers near us. There is also a RV show in Toronto the midddle of January that we might go to to see if they have any. Thanks again!! :)
