Not sure how to title this thread. And yes, some may call it cheesy. But I'll still throw it out there.

We live just off I-40 near Raleigh. I-95 is not too far away as well. Whenever I'm on the interstate and I see a camper headed east on I-40 or south on I-95, I always wonder where they're headed. The Fort? Myrtle Beach? Who knows? As much as we love camping, seeing others headed toward the beach or south makes me smile.

Has anyone ever thought of some kind of Mickey sign or something that would indicate "this camper is headed to the Fort"? I know it may seem silly. But for some reason, I see people proudly displaying on the back of their rig the fact that they are headed all the way to Disneyworld at that time.

Over the years I have seen some folks post pictures of theirs. Some of them had I4 emblems, some made "follow me to the Fort" emblems. As more and more people are getting vinyl machines I'm sure it would be fairly easy to make something to put in the rear or side glass of your camper. However, you would need to be able to remove it when going elsewhere.

Not cheesy, lots of people do it.

I remember seeing a Winter Resident in site 401 for years around the turn of the century, sounds like a longgg time ago , who had a Fleetwood Expedition with MICKEY face/ears painted on the sides and back of the DP. It looked outstanding. Wasn't DISNEY1 the plate on the NJ gentleman's Prevost who stayed for months on end in site 301 before his passing?

Update about above post. I finally talked DW into changing our sign on the car. Here is the new one.

JohnVN, Disney1 was the plate for the gentleman in 301 with the Prevost but he is alive and well he was in the 1700 loop earlier this year with his new 5th wheel.
