Does anyone have the scoop on parking at Downtown for RVs? We may be stopping by there on the way to the Fort.

We parked way down on the Pleasure Island side once on our way from West Palm home. We only intended to be there for an hour or two. Security came by and asked us to leave. There was no one in the parking lot, however they explained that something was scheduled and they needed the parking.
I really think that it depends on their schedule.
It may just be easier to bus from the Fort, then you will have no worries.

I have parked out by the West End before, close to the road. We were gone a few hours while we ate & shopped. No problems with security.

Since I was all the way out by the main road and a paying customer, if they had asked me to move they would have had an arguement on their hands.

Security tried to "help" me by telling me there were no spots for me and to go WAY down over that way.

I ignored them. Found a good spot (that fit our 31' motorhome) and parked for a while and had lunch.

If it was the PI lot in front of Planet Hollywood bordering BVD, the back half is DTD bus parking and is kept clear of cars unless they really need it. It's called the Hollywood Lot. They will boot you out if you park there. I have seen many RVs parked in the lot directly in front of T-Rex.
