Where is Ruth's located in Orlando? Is it near WDW? We will be staying in Formosa Gardens. How is the food?? I can get a $150.00 gift card with my bank points. Should I go for it?
Went there last Nov. I don't remember exactly where it is but it only took about 15 min. to get there from the Polynesian. The food is excellent, we go to one not too far from home also in Tarrytown, NY. The steaks are awesome.

I've been to a couple before....can't remember for sure where, maybe Nashville (I travel way to much for business) the food is good and the price tag is right alone with it. If I remember correctly everything is ala carte, you buy a steak, a salad, a potato, etc....
If you take I-4, there is a Sand Lake Road exit. The steakhouse is in a strip mall. It's closer to Universal than WDW but shouldn't be that bad to get to unless traffic is all backed up. If you're on I-4 and it's bad, bail at Lake Buenva Vista, make a left at the light that you'll come to after exiting, take that road to Sand Lake, and make a right onto Sand Lake.
One of my husband's vendors gives us $200 Ruths Chris gift certificate every Christmas....with it we can each get a filet mignon, potato and soda, and then either share a dessert or appetizer, but not both (which is more than enough for us....the potato is huge!). So we basically have a really nice, very filling, high class atmosphere meal for the cost of a tip.
It's definitely not a blue jean or T-shirt type place....in fact as I recall the men have a tie requirement (hubby always wears one so though I'm always curious he won't take it off to see if they say anything, lol).
The nearest RCSH to Disney is at 7501 Sand Lake Rd. (Orlando) close to I-4. Phone number is 407-226-3900. Great Food. It is about a 10 minute drive from Disney property.
Dressy-casual is fine. No need for a tie. Ruth's Chris is a welcoming place.
