I'm sorry if this is off topic, but I first heard of Ruth's Chris here on this board, so I figured some of you should know this. I'm going to the one in Atlanta tonight and I just wondered if someone could give me a "ballpark" figure of about what it will cost for 2 adults (just don't want any 'sticker shock'!) LOL
Thanks!
Lisa

Hey,

I have been to the several of the ones in Atlanta. It's really good. The best steaks ever. You do buy everything separate. So like you order your steak and then you can order sides to go with it. It's definitly not the cheapest place but it's well worth the money. Also the sides do feed at least two people. We always share one side dish between my DH and I. Their mash potatoes are to die for. I love them.

On the www.accessatlanta.com (which is a atlanta happenings website) they price it $25-50 per person.

Have fun. I'm jealous

The $25 - 50 is sort of low end and I think assumes you would purchase the least expensive steak and share 1 side. My DW and I recently ate at Ruth's Chris in Chicago. Our bill came to $132 and change. We both had a NY Strip, baked potato and beverage (no dessert).

Steve's right about the price. Count on at least $100-150.

Feel free to split the sides. They come in generous portions and the waitstaff will encourage you to share them.

My husband and I both love the Ruth's Chop Salad. I could make a meal off of it. Delicious. You can look over the menu at www.ruthschris.com.

I wish I were going with you.

We went ONE time and I will never go back. HIghly over-rated. Very little selection on the menu and way overpriced!!!

We each got a salad, appetizer and my ex got a steak with a bottle of Merlot. We ended up spending around 175.00 for the two of us.

Wow!!! I just checked out the menu and the one I went to had hardly any of that. The apps were bbQ shrimp, lobster bisque, I think some kind of mushrooms. What a rip off!!! I am totally going to try one in another state!!!

We went to the Ruth's Chris in Houston in January. I have to say the steak was the best I have ever had. I ordered the Small Filet and I think it was $28. My DH and I spilt the Asperagus (sp) and a Potato dish. I think the sides were about $10/side. It was an expensive meal but we do not go out that often. Enjoy!!

We also brought a Cheesecake Dessert home for the kids. It was so yummy!!!!!

No comment on the price, but it doesn't get much better than filet carried out on a sizzling hot plate of butter....literally, the steak is still cooking on a plate smothered in butter.

Soooo good

I have never gone, but my husband has gone several time for business lunches. Just for lunch it was over $100 for two!!! I would definitally prepare to spend over $150. From what I understand, nothing "comes with" the steaks, you must pay for a salad and any sides. Hope you go and enjoy it!!!!

ITA! It is awesome... and it really enhances the flavor and smell, too.

I was just ticked because I am not a big fan of steak unless we cook on the grill at the house. I wanted pasta!!!!My ex did say the steak was awesome but no cooking for him. He likes it rare!

You went to Ruth's Chris and expected pasta?

No offense, but isn't that like going to Olive Garden and asking for steak? :p :p

I've been to several, not inexpensive, but a memorable meal for sure. Excellent.

If you are a creme brulee fan - there's won't disappoint!

We go every year for our anniversary. We always get the same thing
2 Salads
2 Filet Mignons
Broccoli Au Gratin
Garlic Mashed Potatoes
2 Creme Brulees

Our bill is usually in the $120 range. More if we're drinking.

The seasonal berries in cream for dessert is to excellent. They serve it to you in wine goblet. I love their ribeye steak.
