can anyone please advise me when traffic is at its worst on 192 and I4.
ive heard that its bad between 6-10 in the mornings and 5-7.30 in the evenings  but if anyone has first hand experience i'd appreciate your thought on it
thanks graham

To be honest I try and avoid the 192 as best I can, I never find it a good drive, too many lights and traffic for my liking. You can't avoid it for somethings and there are a few shortcuts but without specifics it's hard to advise.

We used the I4 in July joining at Champions Gate and never had a problem in going east to Universal or Seaworld for park openings.
Coming home at various times was surprisingly OK as well, no major problems which was unusual.A regular bottleneck seems to be J68 for LBV.

If there's an accident then all bets are off and if you don't know your way around that well in order to take alternative routes, I can recommend this map http://www.orlandomaps.co.uk

The roads also get busier after the major parks close at night.

I agree with JR. The 192 can be pretty hectic almost all the time but is sometimes difficult to avoid. From what I can recall from our last visit, we had less hassle on the I4 than the 192. Hit and miss I'm afraid.

Don't know where you will be staying but the Osceola Parkway usually gives a clear run into WDW from the east. The trouble I found with this route was trying to find it again at night after the parks closed :confused3 On my last but one night I worked out that you took the signs for the Florida Turnpike :woohoo:
