My dog's eyes water constantly. I clean them every day and they look so good for about an hour after, then they start running again. I've never had this problem when I've had larger dogs. At her annual check-up last year the vet said people have had success with Angel Eyes but I haven't tried it yet. Anyone have any other recommendations or experience with Angel Eyes? TIA! :hippie:

My Golden Retreiver gets that frequently in the Spring. Her Vet said that it was allergies and we just clean them out. I havent tried Angel Eyes though.

Haven't tried Angel Eyes either but my MIL's dog (yorkshire terrier) always has runny eyes and the doctor told her it was blocked tear ducts.

Angels' Eyes is a product that helps remove tear staining or the rusty looking stains under the dog's eyes.

Many people rave about the product since it brightens the undereye area on white dogs such as Maltese, Westies, Bichons, etc. It honestly sounds like your dog has a tearing issue, rather than a staining issue. My dog that had lots of eye discharge was able to use an over-the-counter dry eye drop, but my vet prescribed which one to use. It helped her a great deal. Good luck, but I'm not sure Angel Eyes will stop the excessive tear production.

I have a small dog who gets allergies and runny eyes. I give her children's liquid benadryl (doctor gave me amount I should use based on her weight).

I have two Bichons (white). One has bad tearing/staining and Angel eyes has made her look sooo much better. She looked dirty all the time with that rust colored stuff coming down from her eyes and all around her mouth and even on her paws. Now she's all white. I was able to lower the amount we gave her by more than half once we got it under control.

We are having horrible weed pollen in this area, and I too have noticed that the dogs are not exempt from Spring allergy symptoms.

Luckily, we have a vet appt for them tomorrow (annual checkup) and I am going to ask about them.

I have a 12 year old german shepherd mix that constantly has runny eyes so it's not just a small dog thing. We assume it is allergies since it always seems worse when my allergies flare up. Right now tree pollen is horrible in our area and his eyes are a mess. Unfortunately, because of his age and numerous health problems, we can't really give him much in the way of meds so he just suffers through it.
