Running Warehouse code?

I read yesterday somewhere (can't remember--might have been a Runner's World forum) that some people had figured out how to stack discounts and get up to 30% off and that Running Warehouse was making SW changes to correct this. Don't know if it's true or not.

Given how easy it is to find a discount and use it--regardless of whether you truly have an affiliation with a specific group--I can understand them evaluating and making changes. It eats into their profit margins.

Since they generally offer good prices and free shipping, I will probably continue to use them.

That makes sense but I hope the codes are either re-activated once they make the fix or we get a new code.

So, my husband is in the Runner's World Masters Club and had a code through them that wasn't working either...so he was on their forums and learned that there were people that found a way to stack the codes and RW even ended up owing people money along with their order because they had stacked so many codes. So now, no codes for anyone until they update their software to avoid losers from hacking their way into free shoes. Sounds like they anticipate it will be sometime in May.

That sucks! Especially for us honest people that just want to use our 15% code for a little savings.

I guess a few bad apples is all it takes once again. On the plus side, view this as an opportunity to go visit your local specialty running store. They do a lot to support the local running community and need our support in return.

just checked the email. They did respond on April 11 to tell me to check with my coach/administrator. I've emailed them back to tell them that as I mentioned in the previous email, I am the administrator and would appreciate the updated code.

We'll see what happens

I've always had excellent service from the company so hopefully they'll get everything sorted out.
