We are going to Disney World from March 16-23rd - the week before Easter. My 5 1/2 yr old DD will need a stroller at times during the trip. We are debating bringing a stroller vs. renting. The big issue for me is that my husband refuses to bring the stroller I have and love (the Peg Perego P3) because he can barely squeeze it in between the seats on the parking lot trams. We rent a car and usually drive to the parks other than MK. So if I bring one I will have to buy a new stroller that is smaller and folds more easily - the Maclaren Volo I'm thinking. The cost of renting vs. buying the new is pretty much the same so that doesn't sway my decision. I sort of like the idea of renting a double so that we can toss our stuff in and my 9 yr old can even have a rest if he needs. But is there any chance of us returning to the parks in the late afternoon only to find they are out of rental strollers?

Thanks!

I have *heard*, although I have no actual experience, that there is a danger of not being able to get a stroller. I was too paranoid to risk it, so I bought a Maclaren Triumph for the trip. (Well, and because I wanted a Maclaren Triumph and the trip was a good excuse. ;) )

one time when we cane around 12 or 2 to the MK in May they were out of strollers. That was the only time and we began to bring a stroller every time after so I d o not know how often that happens.

A couple of years ago during the week before Easter AK ran out of doubles. That was the only time we saw this happen and we would often park hop mid-afternoon.
