I am determined to keep my morning exercise up because if I lose 30 lbs by may my mom is taking me on a $1000 shopping spree. I was wonderig which resorts have the best jogging trails. Thanks in advance :cool1:

One of the Boardwalk are hotels, Fort Wilderness, or Wilderness Lodge would be my choice

I always work out on vacation and really loved the Epcot area. The resorts will give you a walking/jogging map if you ask for it. I've stayed at WL too and although they had a nice area for walking, it was too short for me. The Epcot map has several different loops and you can combine them if you need a larger distance.

Son is a distance runner. For the moderates, CSR is the best !! His team actually stayed there once and used the path around the lake for their practices.

Good Luck Sweetie!!

I too am determined to keep up my now 3 month exercise routine which includes a 3 mile walk/jog loop in my so Cal neighborhood. I've seen a nice little walk/jog loop between the POR/POFQ resorts and am planning on utilizing them while there in July. Looking forward to morning walk/jogs along the river, watching the sunrises.

Go for it!!

There is a nice path between SSR and OKW. You could always go to the spa for a massage afterwards!

I loved SSR for walking. Especially early in the a.m. You can walk around the lake through DTD before it gets crowded with people. Their fitness and Spa are Awesome too!

Sorry again, but while CSR is great and the Epcot area has two great loops, the best by far is Port Orleans. You run through the woods, along the river, through the French Quarter over bridges under bridges...It is truly great...AND a lot of it is shaded!

I've done my runs at CSR, YC/BC, CR, and POR. My favorite for early morning runs is the path along the river between POR and POFQ. It's quiet, and the scenery can't be beat.

FW and the trail to WL is the best place. I have also done walking at the EC resorts and between POR & POFQ.

I found the trails around the lakes at CBR and CSR to be good for jogging. I forget the exact distance, but they are a little over a mile each per lap. It could get a bit boring if you run 10 miles a day, but I usually only run 3.

Thank you very much for all your responses. I greatly appreciate it and hope everyone has a good time on their future vacations

Congrats to you and keep up the good work! Isn't running the best? It's totally my time, to think, pray, dream. Ahhh.... i love it.

I run 3.5 - 6 miles at least 4 - 6 days a week. It allows me to eat what i want and stay a size 5 - 6.

However, when we're in WDW i do not run and do not gain weight. I truly believe walking the parks is even more of a work out for me! :) And i DO eat plenty in the parks. My fave snack has to be the chocolate chip cookies at MGM Studios, not in the Toll House Shop (mine are better than that! :) ) but in the little candy / bakery nearby. I easily consume 2-3 a day and they are thick (i buy them as we leave the park for the rest of our visit), in addition to everything else i devour...!! :)

Yummmmm......i cannot wait to have them again!
