runDisney Rules for Minors

I'm not finding this info at the runDisney website and am hoping that someone here might have experience with this. My son (13yo) wants to run the 5k and my daughter (16yo) wants to run the half marathon. Can they both do that without a parent running those events, too? Also, can a parent pick up a minor's race packet? Thanks!

I believe parents can pick up race packets for minors but 18+ has to pick their own packets up

idk off hand the age cut offs for actual races

Past policy was 5 years old for 5k, 10 years old for 10k, 14 years for HM, and 18 years for M/Goofy/Dopey. The page where this info used to be no longer exists on runDisney, but I found it by googling "age requirement runDisney half marathon".

You can pick up for minors, and you are not required to run with them to the best of my knowledge.

I don’t believe those ages need a parent on course with them. Just make sure you fill out the emergency contact info on the back of the bib. Also, you will not be able to enter the corral areas with them. There is a checkpoint for bibs at the entrance to the corrals and again going into the assigned corral. They would be on their own.
