I've read that during busy periods the Fast Passes may be gone by early afternoon for the most popular attractions. Has this been true recently ? i.e. Spring Break I think would be very busy

All the time on Test Track normally by 11 am you are getting passes for 5 pm.

We were at MK and Epcot this past weekend, and Test Track was the only attraction we encountered that ran out of Fast Passes. We only felt the need to use FP one time, and that was with Splash Mountain. The Stand By line was about an hour and half wait. At around noon, the FP return time was 1:40 to 2:40. We arrived back at 2 pm and waited about 3 minutes.

We were in MK this weekend and by 1 in the afternoon FP machines (Buzz Lightyear, Peter Pan and Space Mountain for certain) were issuing returns for 4:55-5:55. (Winne the Pooh ws closed for refurbishment). Which means since the park closed at 6 that day, FP ran out shortly after 1 p.m. both days.

This has me rethinking my itinerary. Could you help me please?
Our first day we're going to MGM in AM as its EE,then MK in PM. The next day will be MK in AM (no EE) then MGM in PM.

If I plan to got back to the parks at 4PM after a break, will the FP's be all gone? I'm trying to avoid the long lines, but it seems to me by splitting the days I'm actually making it worse.

If anyone can clarify this for me I'd really appreciate it.

My last trip, May of 2001, Test Track was the only ride that had fastpasses that were gone or giving return times of 4 hours out. MK the only one that had more than an hour or so out was Pooh and that was when it was fairly new. Splash, Space, HM, Buzz were all 1-1 1/2 hour return times, same with RNR and TOT. This may have changed some since, maybe people are more aware of FP than they were 2 years ago..
