Halloween has arrived at Costco. I live in Windsor, Ontario. The princess dresses are very close to the Princess an me line. Snow White, Ariel, Aurora(pink), Tink and Cinderella.
$25.00 gets you two crowns and gloves as well....never enough accessories! There are three layers to the gowns, lots of sparkles and they zip up.
According to my five year old "these dresses are what every little girl needs to meet the princesses".
Happy shopping!:goodvibes

Tomorrow...my dd has outgrown all her princess outfits...need one for a trip this fall!

Happy to help, I may return and get another and surprise DD for christmas!

Going first thing on Saturday morning! Yes, Costco on a Saturday morning :scared:, but it's the only time I can go without the kids!

Thanks for the heads up!

I would say they are similar to the Disney Store. Costco has either size 4 or 7. The label says Disney Classics by Disguise. I like the fact that Aurora's sleeves are satin. I think this dress will survive longer than her Princess and Me dress that I bought at Toys R Us.
Which one to get for Christmas? Need to find a Captn Jack costume for my son. I think I will check Ebay. Any other suggestions?

Disappointed as our store only had snow white...i was happy that the 7-8 fit our nine year old..now, i have to find another costco...see what sleeping beauty looks like!

Can you post pics? Would it be cool enough for August?

Some of the dresses are 3/4 sleeve but have the open chest and shoulder area.
Snow White, Tink and Ariel would be your best choices.

The sleeping beauty would def. be too hot for august. Sept...long sleeve satin..no ariel...we ended up going snow white for our nine year old...might be a little warm for Sept...lots of layers, but so cute, as was cinderella!

I would have got sleeping beauty four our five year old )fits more 3-4..the 4-6 was too big :(

Here is the link to the disguise site... the versions Costco has are the Prestige, plus each costume has an extra tiara and gloves.

The costumes are beautiful IRL and run large, IMO. My dd is a solid 7, with some of her shirts an 8, and she was swimming in the 7/8 Cinderella. Also, she said it was itchy (there is embroidery on the bodice with no cover on the inside - not a problem if you are wearing it for Halloween, but in the Orlando heat...). The 7/8 Snow White was still big on her, but wearable, however, it was too long (dragged on the ground). We're going to pick up the 4-6X tomorrow and see if it will work.

By doing a quick google, it looks like these dresses are retailing for 49.99 - and that is without the extra gloves and tiara. Costco's 24.99 is a steal, and I bet they are gone within the week.

Just got back from Langford BC costco and the only ones they had were Ariel, Snow White, and Cinderella. And only in size 7-8. THere was a single Tink in 3-4.. *sigh* I guess I'm gonna end up ordering one on sale at Disney Store and shipped to our hotel.

Is still early for halloween....i know the one closest to me only had snow white and a handful of cinderella..the one 1/2 hour a way didnt have Ariel, but had the rst...hoping for smaller sizes...

I went on Friday. I took some pics but I have to figure out how to post pics.
I would say they are more similiar to dresses sold at Toys R Us and Zellers.
Costco Ajax had Ariel, SNow White, and Tinkerbell.

We went out to our Costco on the weekend and they had Snow White, Tinkerbell, Aurora, and Cinderella. Sadly, no Ariel which is what we are searching for :(

Will have to go look as we live in 4 days. the girls would only wear it to CRT and akershus so not too bad even if the are on the warmer side.

Don't know if we got a dud, but within half hour of wearing the snow white dress the thing started to fall apart. Before even putting it on the button that holds the cape in place fell off and then the hem started to fray. Great looking dresses, but not disney quality.

uh-oh!

Well, I took a chance and went out to the costco on the other end of town from us and I found the Ariel dress! Yay! Now let's hope it doesn't fall apart ;)

The same thing happened to my daughters Snow White dress - I'm exchanging it tomorrow. I would love to just get another princess dress but she is set on Snow White now that she has seen it. So I'm going to buy another one and use clear nail polish around the hem of the dress to make sure it doesn't happen again!;)
