Run Disney Marathon Sneakers

I'd really love to get my husband the Run Disney Mickey Sorcerer New Balance Sneakers. But only available @ WDW during the marathon which is next week. We will be heading to WDW but not until April. I tried calling FL merchandise directly, no luck. Not on Disneystore.com. Even called a couple of people who may know someone in Orlando area. Any ideas or just realize it can't be done?

There are several boards about the marathon weekend in the Events/Competition subsection of the WISH board on the DIS. You could ask there if someone could pick them up.

I am not getting to the marathon expo until Saturday -- I'm guessing the shoes would be long gone since the expo opens Wednesday for the 5K. I also have zero room in my suitcase for another pair of shoes, or I would try to look.

I just ordered the pink Minnie Mouse. On Facebook is Shop the Magic. Great experiences ordering from them

They are only sold at the RunDisney events and last year they sold out quickly, the New Balance video says they are better prepared for demand this year so fingers crossed. I'm hoping to get a pair at the Tink in DL in a few weeks.

The shoes will be at every run disney event. Also, I've heard they have a new plan on how they are distributing them this year. So hopefully those of us that can't be there for the earliest event will still e ableto purchase some.

I was able to purchase the 2013 Minnie's at the Race Expo for the Wine & Dine Half Marathon in October. So you definitely have time.
