Can anyone share how the rundisney 10 miler race impacts Early Entry transportation? Staying at Port Orleans Riverside and planning on getting to MK early on April 16 and the race is happening that morning. Thoughts on MK vs EP? Trying to figure out how this may impact the morning. I’ve seen from other posts to expect extra traffic and delays, curious the extent of we’re aiming for that early 7am bus. Thanks!

While it's impossible to know the race route for certain (they usually aren't released until 2-3 weeks before the race), if history is any indication, the races will be centered around the Hollywood Studios and Epcot parks.

The races start between 5-6 a.m. and the 10 miler should be completely finished somewhere between 8:30 and 9 a.m. While there will be road closures, Disney does try to get the roads open as fast as possible and minimize any impact to park operations and transportation.

Thanks! That’s helpful to know and maybe it won’t impact the ride to MK so much. One can hope!

The fall 10 miler starts at wild world of sports and goes through Studios and Animal Kingdom before ending back at ESPN. The last Spring 1 I could find went through Epcot and Studios.

There has not been a rundisney race to start at WWoS since 2016 (Wine and Dine Half Marathon). There has only been one Ten Mile race recently (last spring) and it started at Epcot and went to DHS and then back to finish at Epcot. From Port Orleans, busses can go straight to MK via Bonnet Creek Parkway past Golden Oaks, so it would not be a problem with the course from last year.
