Hi all,
Someone said on a previous post that Ce Multiavantages were to cease selling APs at promotional prices overseas. Does anyone know if there is any truth in this?

Thanks
Kiz

I was reading about that to but a few people posted that they emailed them and they said they would still send the pass overseas :).

My understanding (from reading) is the same as kizzabel.

They will happily sell APs overseas at regular prices. However the promotional packages/prices will only be for the French market.

I've just sent an email to Ce M asking why and if they will sell again overseas. Uuuuuuuugh this could be an issue for us :sad2:
Fingers crossed but I'll post their response :goodvibes

What do you mean by promotional tickets, do you mean free/discount child ticket ? I'm very nervous about this has I have booked hotel for one and was going to get three APs in the new year. I did email Alice at CEM to ask if I could have tickets posted to UK and she said there was no problem. I hope thinks haven't changed

Take a look at the website - it says the cheap kids APs are only for French residents now.
The deal I was hoping for was the one we had last time > a Dream AP for myself for around €150 and a kids one for a reduced rate (€39).
It says they will still post APs overseas but the rates aren't as good and there is currently no kids offer - Dream APs are €179 for both adults and kids at the minute. Going to look at Promoparcs now too.

Same story for Promoparcs - French territory only :crazy2:

Just got this response from Alice at Ce M (can I just say they are so efficient and their customer service is fantastic)

Nous avons des consignes de chez Disney, les promotions sont réservées au marché Français, je ne sais pas si ça va évoluer d’ici le mois de mai.

which google tells me translates to::

We have instructions for Disney, promotions are reserved for the French market, I do not know if it will change by the month of May.

I would be very cautious guys. I would factor in paying about €179 each for APs with no discounts for kids now. I suppose we made great use of this promotion for the last couple of years and nothing lasts forever.

So can we get the discount if we have the tickets posted to a friend in France? Or do we have to prove we are french when we redeem the vouchers?

Its not clear but if you email Alice I'm sure she will advise. Ugh such a pain. I think I would chance it if I had someone who could order them for me in France.

Not sure Emma, we had to show ID but no proof of address, but you'll need Kyra's birth certificate as she has a different surname to you, to prove you're her Mother. French laws prohibit a minor under the age of 18 signing contracts and you need to sign for her. They are very strict if you dont have the correct paperwork. We had to get one emailed for Callum, even though he has an adult passport and is nearly 18!

This is a real pain for us too (and aren't all EU countries supposed to be able to access the same offers or something?)

I only need APs for myself and DD so I'm going to trying applying for a Francilien AP by post. Hopefully it should cost less than £100 each after my shareholder discount has been applied.

Was hoping this was only going to be a short term issue.
I will need 6 AP for next October what would be the cheapest way to do it 5 of us live at the same address.
I'm sure we will need dream APs as it's over the Halloween time, all the other pass's seem to have black out dates around this time.

If the free/reduced priced kids APs don't come back on the market for UK residents, your cheapest AP for 5 would be buying them at DLP with the family 20% discount off each one, up to a maximum of 5, bought at the same time.

If you are shareholders, you can combine the 15% shareholders discount on AP purchases, with the family discount, giving you a total of 35% off the full price of each AP at DLP, when 5 are bought all together.

Thanks Elaine :)
I'm trying to keep this trip as cheap as I can so we can do a few the year after.
Was hoping for the cheap kids pass tbh.
Wish I had family in France.

Thats a pain re: the birth cert. I just checked mine to see as I was sure mine was in my maiden name but no its under my married name.

Actually I thought this was so too but I'm sure trying to get this point across would take an age as I'm far from fluent in French and I'm sure they are ready and waiting with an excuse to say no.

Hope it works out ok for you too Rach xxx

Hoping it changes next year.
We have ages before we go in October.
Do you think they would they deliver to your hotel / would hotel be ok with it etc ?.
Always worth a email :confused3

I don't know if I would trust having it delivered to the hotel.
I'm going to bide my time until April and see what offers are on with Ce M. If theres a good offer I will order then and get it made permanent in May (even though the one I have at the minute doesn't lapse until Oct) which will cover us for November then but if not I'll just wait and buy one at DLP as my Ce M membership lapses late May and another years membership plus the cost of AP would cost the same as just getting one onsite :confused3

Any way I can add a month or two to my AP?

remember, if you renew your AP at DLP (ie from 30 days before it expires, until 30 days after its expiry date) you get the offer of 6 months on it free (ie you pay for 12 months but you get 18 months on it).
