A rainy day at Disney is better than any day at work. Unless you work for Disney. I'm off to take a nap 3 hours of sleep and it had nothing to do with ROL or a baby. Just my boys needing be be run around late last night and my dh needing to be up at 4 for work today. (he could sleep though a bomb blast)Rainy day at MK
Thanks, bill.http://allears.net/btp/tours.htm
One additional thing...if you have any of the following cards: AP, DVC member, Disney Visa, or AAA always ask if they offer a discount.
Well, Mr. Smarty pants (kidding, you know I love ya!) from what she said on my call, they will call back to tell us that too. I think it is AWESOME that they are calling those of us who contacted them. They don't have to do that...definitely gives me back some of the "magical" feeling that has started fading these last couple of months! If what I read yesterday is correct we might not even see anything next week.
FWIW: My caller identified herself as working in the executive offices...not the call center.George is the president of WDW of course he would know what's going on however I'm not exactly sure the people working for him in the call center area would know. I'd say they are probably a little more knowledgable than a booking CM but still take everything they say with a grain of salt. Until it's officially announced from Disney nothing is guaranteed and even then sometimes it isn't.
And it's also AWESOME the people who are getting calls are giving us thread buddies the latest update. Thank so much!!Well, Mr. Smarty pants (kidding, you know I love ya!) from what she said on my call, they will call back to tell us that too. Yes but I believe the executive offices have a receptionist/call center area or at least people that only do responses via email or phone on behalf of the executive offices.FWIW: My caller identified herself as working in the executive offices...not the call center.
Rainy day, indeed. How about a trade? It's snowing like crazy here.Rainy day at MK
That's Disney for yait's just frustrating that all of this different information is being released.
Snowing here too! Ugh it's April I'm so done with it.Rainy day, indeed. How about a trade? It's snowing like crazy here.![]()
I totally understand. We leave two weeks from today, and I've made other plans as well. At some point you just want to have a fun and do able schedule.I think I've become jaded, lol. When I heard this last message about an "update", I didn't even get excited, not even for a split second. My sister and I have been following this site religiously and we even changed our fast passes for AK on the 22nd in case it became available but we've given up and changed our FP's back to our original plans at MK. We will just have to come back later in the year to check it out. We gave it a good shot but are tired of the uncertainty. We leave in 16 days and are excited to just be back at Disney, even without the RoL. Have loved reading everyone's posts here. There are a lot of very funny people on here.

All of you people with snow need to move to Texas, I'm in Austin and it is a very pleasant 60 degrees with a high of 70 for today.
I think I've about given up on my schedule.
I leave in 12 days.
Do I know how late Animal Kingdom is going to be open? No
Do I know if there will for sure be, or not be, preview parties for ROL that will mess up other plans I have? No
Do I know if I'll even have a chance of seeing ROL on April 22? No
Do I know if I need to be checking the internet constantly to see if fast passes open up for ROL on the 22nd while I'm on vacation? No
Do I know for sure that I am going to have a much better time at Disney than I would have in my real world? Yes
